OPEN Resources is a response to migration exigence in Italy, with a strong innovative feature which insists on the common value of work. Our pilot project proposes a solution for: youth unemployment; refugees’ housing; and urban regeneration challenges. How? Through the renovation of existing buildings, conducted by refugees and NEETs, working together to add value to existing houses. After the job, they will share housing for a free-rent period. In this way, they will be autonomous and able to build new life-projects. This pilot project will link of bottom-up and top-down interventions for a participative Social Europe.
